Shouting out a HUGE Thank You to Price Chopper in Gouverneur. For doing their annual food drive for Friends 4 Pound Paws. A little different this year. They did up 5 different bags full of dog or cat supplies. We have received 118 brown bags so far. Still available til October 13th. Thank You Thank You !! To all the customers that have purchased a bag or two. We are so greatful 🐾 💕

We had another great neuter clinic today! 31 cats were neutered! A big thank you to Donna and Christina from the St Regis Falls Cat Palace, Dr Parent and Dr Arquette for doing the surgeries, Gouverneur Town Supervisor Dave Spilman for assisting us with a location, and Ed Ramos for delivering tables and chairs. Today’s clinic was sponsored by the family of Christine Geuther to honor her memory. We hope to have another clinic again in the future! 🐾🐾

Guinness had been adopted ❤️. Katryna made the long 8 hour drive from the state of Maryland to adopt this sweet pup. He joins a sister named Daisy. Guinness who always has a toy in his mouth ready to play fetch. We all thank you Katryna for giving Guinness the best home ever. ❤️😊🐾🐾

Our Story NYS Reg.No. RR204

Friends 4 Pound Paws Inc. is an all breed rescue for cats and dogs. We currently have a small Shelter located at 55 Owl Road, Gouverneur, NY. Our facility can house up to 6 dogs and 20 cats. We are an all volunteer rescue, and rely upon donations and fundraisers to maintain our facility, and to provide medical care to our animals. We still do use foster homes for animals that do not do well in the shelter setting. We were founded in May of 2011 .
