Celebrating the Life of Rebecca Vives

We invite you to join us in honoring the life and legacy of our beloved mother, sister, friend, animal shepherd & caretaker, Rebecca Vives, who passed away on December 9th, 2024. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM at 48 Maple Ave, Goshen, NY 10924. The length of the event is open-ended, as we welcome time to remember and share stories together.

Rebecca was the heart behind Noah’s Ark II (1988–2013) and Noah’s Park Retreat (2013–2024). She cared for countless pets in Orange County—grooming, boarding, and helping families welcome new furry friends into their homes. Her customers returned again and again, not just for their pets, but for the kindness and warmth Rebecca brought into their lives.

She truly believed it was her calling from God to care for animals, and she did so with a loving and nurturing spirit that touched every creature—and every person—she met. Her legacy lives on in the pawprints left on our hearts.

We would be honored to celebrate her memory with everyone who loved her, just as she so deeply loved the animals she served.

Food and drinks will be provided.

Please RSVP through the Google Form below so we can plan accordingly:
