What's the definition of crapshoot? It's an informal term for a situation, undertaking, or enterprise whose outcome is highly unpredictable! That sums up most of the intakes that come our way! You never know what you're going to get when someone asks for help! We answered a calling for these two that stated " rescue help needed for two six month old boys." "Their mom went to rescue and now they don't want her boys."
So here we are, with two extremely unsocialized puppies who can't walk on a leash, never been in the house, don't want to even look at a stranger, let alone be touched by one. They flinch when you touch them and they are extremely underweight. So, that's where we start................. our goal, to help them be adoptable, socially comfortable and come with some obedience skills, leash skills and house training when all is said and done! How long will this take - months!
Does an adoption fee cover their medical costs, preventative upkeep, food, treats and everything else to bring them up to acceptable health and thriving emotional and social status! NOPE! It's usually not a winning hand for rescue, but we don't just take the easy ones - we take the ones that need us!
Follow along as these two boys go from hanging out in some sort of chicken coop and enter the world of Blue Ridge Animal Rescue!
They will be medium to large dogs. Seem to be Labrador / Pyranees mix and the black male has some nice curl to him! Maybe a Poodle in there too!
