Thank you to everyone who supported Avidog over the past decade. It's been a great journey and we've loved meeting many of you.

Upon hearing the news that Gayle Watkins is joining the Good Dog team as Head of Education, many people have written to inquire about the status of Avidog Essentials and their ability to continue to get the canine supplements and supplies that we sell at shop.avidog.com. We are happy to tell you that Avidog Essentials is not going anywhere. Many dog-food recalls aren't emergencies but this one is! If you feed Sportmix foods, to either your dogs or cats, stop feeding it immediately and contact your retailer ASAP. Some of the foods are contaminated with Mycotoxins, a type of fungus, that sickens or kills dogs. 28 dogs have died thus far. DO NOT FEED THIS FOOD!

FDA is alerting pet owners & veterinary professionals about certain lots of Sportmix pet food products which may contain potentially fatal levels of aflatoxin.
