It's always party time with me, Maple!
Did you know that everything is THE BEST THING EVER, because it is! Except kennel time at meals, but I just want lots of food and am very dramatic.
My foster has said that a lot of people have been asking about me, and I wanted to let you know that I am amazing! There are some things that my foster and doctor are watching, but I just got my 2nd round of vaccines today and was only a little bit dramatic, but I quickly forgot because of spray cheese and people! Snacks are great, people are better. I also love animal friends, trying to trip my foster, being wild, moving constantly (the lady included some of the outtakes, because it took a lot of pictures to get a few decent ones).

I am not going to be done with my medical for a bit because I need 2 more rounds of vaccines and I have to have surgery before I can start looking for my home.

Please keep watching for my updates and they will post when they are accepting applications for me.

Hello Yorkieluvers!!! As you know yorkies and other fur babies are known for their unconditional love and big personalities. Often we are faced with medical cost due to the age and condition of the fur baby. Please if you are able donate $5 or any amount you are able to. 100% of donations are used on the animal. Hi friends, Sidney here; I was the hot mess stray from the weekend. Let me tell you, I am living the life right now, and I get delicious food, snacks, lots of love, and I even get to go to work with my foster mom when I keep darting out of the door. I might have lived with the dinosaurs and have a very crunchy neck and spine (more on that later), but I love to follow my foster everywhere, and I am quick!
My first few days had me at the emergency vet where I was hospitalized. I'm not telling exactly what happened, because all that is important is that I am a survivor, but something big may have tried to unalive me. Don't worry, I won, all bony 5 1/2 pounds of me! But, they left wounds all over my head and neck. Plus, I was extremely dried up like a raisin and had eye infections. They took lots of fancy pictures of me and told my foster that I just have crunchy disks in my neck and spine and that I didn't have enough blood volume, but that's because I was a raisin. They stole lots of blood from me and said again that I was a raisin, but it wasn't too bad otherwise! That's because I am so strong!
They kept me to keep me in the ICU so that they could turn me into a grape and they gave me lots of good pain meds and antibiotics. Now, I am home, and I don't walk, I bounce, dance, and don't always know where my feet are going, but I always go super fast!
My foster says that I am the happiest old man ever. I'm still undergoing treatment and we're trying to figure out why I drool foam when I put anything in my mouth, why I have a hard lump on my neck, and I have these things hanging between my legs that my foster has said just need to go, along with my teeth.
I probably won't be able to ever hold my head up fully or straight, and my moves are a Sidney special, but I am loving my new life 💖!

Peaches is now ready to find her forever home!
Peaches is a dog who is not going to love you right away, and will be vocal about it, as we recently discovered. But, it doesn’t take her long to bond, and once she does, she only has eyes for you. She’s incredibly attached to her foster after just a few weeks, and will be in your lap fast, if you just let her take her time.
Peaches is a solid 20 #, and is working on weight loss.
She’s 5 years old
She loves walks!
Peaches is crate trained, and it’s recommended that she be crated when alone initially. She did have some separation anxiety at first, and she probably will after getting adopted.
She currently sleeps in her kennel, but would prefer not to.
She should not be around kittens, which her foster has. They move too quick, she obsesses over them, and can’t be trusted.
She should also be an only dog. She loves most dogs and is playful, but she gets jealous and has snapped both from jealousy and being over excited.
Peaches needs a home that doesn’t have a lot of people in and out, or, with someone who will separate her when people are there, at least until she’s comfortable.

It doesn’t take long for Peaches to love her people, but she has a rough (all nerve driven- she’s been bounced around a lot in the last few months) exterior that will take a bit without her foster around to get her to fall in love with you.

Please welcome Koda to Yorkie Luv Rescue 💕. Koda is an 18 year old owner surrender who just came today. Her foster is still getting to know her, but says that she's sweet and spunky. Poor Koda is going to have an adjustment after losing her family of 18 years, but she seems to be doing well all things considered. She's already very, very loved by her foster.
Please watch for her updates! She's in desperate need of a dental and has some stuff going on with her eyes, but she's happy.

Sweet Cookie (she responds to Lucille/Lucy) came to the rescue a few months ago after her owner was no longer able to care for her and her sister (who had to be set free due to her severe dementia and heart issues).
Cookie/Lucille is 14 years old and 9 pounds.
She has decent energy for her age, but really just wants to be a companion to someone who wants a dog by them.
She is house broken, but will use potty pads if available. She is also kennel trained, but is not currently using one.
She's trustworthy with everyone and has been friendly towards all
She's fine with other dogs and cats, but would also love to be an only dog.

She's just recovering from her dental, and she's spayed, vaccinated, and had senior blood work and a urinalysis. She's a healthy older lady.

If anyone is looking for just a fantastic dog and an amazing companion, look no further than Cookie/Lucy. She's an absolute doll 💕.
