Hey everyone! We have the 2026 J&R Horsemanship shirts live at custom ink!!! Available in black and Jackie's favorite color, turquoise!

All of the proceeds from shirt sales will go to facility upgrades and maintenance to help us better serve you our clients! We will do a couple of t-shirt fundraisers throughout the year but this one ends March 25th and the shirts ordered will be shipped by April 12th. (Has to be at least 9 shirts sold in order to print.)

❄️ ❄️ Equine Winter Weather Tips: ❄️ ❄️

With cold weather + precipitation coming, these extra tips can help your horse stay healthy despite the cold.

• provide a break from wind &/ shelter from moisture
• increase forage availability (especially if not fed free-choice hay)
• ensure constant access to fresh water (ensure tank heaters are not sending electrical shock through the water)

𝐏𝐑𝐎 𝐓𝐈𝐏: Research shows keeping water temperatures above freezing can increase a horse's water intake by 40% on cold days.

• blankets can be a great tool for low-weight or clipped horses (using blankets already? don't stop!)
• remove ice or snow pack from hooves
• consider adding electrolytes to feed or ensure free choice access to salt/mineral

GOOD MONDAY MORNING EVERYONE!!!! Almost a new year! And with that we have an announcement to make and a favor to ask!

We are proud to let yall be the first to know that we now have an Air BNB set up here at the J&R Facility! So if you are bringing us a horse for training from a distance we can now offer you a place to rest during drop off and pick up! For our horse clients we will offer a discount on nightly rentals so message us here before you book so we can make the necessary adjustments!

Here is the favor though.....we want to offer this stop off for all equine enthusiasts. So if you would please share this post and leave a comment to get the word out it would be a much appreciated gesture! Folks traveling across the country know it is hard to find a place for you and your horse(s) to stay over night when traveling, but that is exactly what we are now offering!

Even thought it’s cold, my little rider is still practicing her lessons!!! I love it and I’m very thankful for every student I have big and small. You all make my day and keep me going!!! Thank you 😊 🥰. Ryan and I are very blessed to have you all in our lives!!!
