🐾 Kennel Technician – Join Our Pet Care Team! 🐾
Are you passionate about animals and looking for a hands-on role in a fun, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a reliable and caring Kennel Technician to join our boarding facility team for the summer! We are mainly looking for someone on Friday and Saturday nights. Shift times can either be 11-7 or 1-7! Starting pay is $15/hour! Great position for a college student!
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
• Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Assist with exercise, playtime, and enrichment activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all pets.
• Communicate professionally with team members and occasionally with pet owners.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Genuine love for animals and comfort working around dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting, standing, cleaning, etc.)
• Must be reliable! If you need time off we ask that you give us a 2-week notice at minimum.
• Previous animal care experience is a plus! We are willing to train but having some general knowledge helps!
• Availability for weekends and holidays (boarding facilities don’t close!)
