The crew and I had a great time at the 2024 ACDCA National Specialty in Lebanon, TN!

Skyler and Xander finished their rally titles, each placing 4th in their class! We made our own team for Team Rally and although we didn’t place we all had a great time participating with smiling faces and wagging tails, this is one of my favorite activities at the National!!! Everyone showed well in their conformation classes, Chitza earned a 3rd placement in her 10 and over Veterans Class and as the oldest b*tch (and dog in general) at 14 years 4 months and 12 days entered in the show, she was able to do her very own lap around the ring!!!

We entered the nationals herding trial and although we didn’t do as well as our training had me believe we could do😂 we learned a lot and we’ll just have to practice more and step up our game!

All in all it was a great time spending it with old and new cattle dog friends! Hopefully everyone has safe travels home and we’ll see you next time!!!

The crew and I have been enjoying our weekend here in Lexington, KY for the Bluegrass Classic dog show! Saturday there was an ACD Jubilee where Wayouts Walk With Me, “Xander” and Roufler’s High Flying Adored RN HSAs SCN, “Skyler” earned lovely cattle dog stained glass art style prizes for the class placements! Later in the day Eva went and played show dog in the 10 and over veterans and also won her own! Chitza tagged along, cheering since she can’t be trusted to stay home alone and I can’t show two old farts at the same time! Sunday Skyler was awarded Reserve Winners B*tch! We have one more day and then we head home!

On a side note, this is my first show with the ramp in the ring for the cattle dogs, let me just say I LOVE IT! Do I need to practice more with it, probably!😆 However it’s so nice to have the dog right there and not have to bend over as far, that ground gets farther and farther away every year!😆

Today is Xander’s Day!!! Wayouts Walk With Me is three years old! He’s celebrating his birthday with a herding clinic (please cross your fingers it doesn’t actually ran and the wind doesn’t blow us away!😆)

This past weekend Roufler’s High Flying Adored RN SCN PT, “Skyler”, earned her started herding title in sheep and Wayouts Walk With Me, “Xander” earned his first qualifying score in started sheep!

It was a rainy weekend in PA, but was great spending it with fellow herders!
