Hey Everyone, hope you are enjoying our wonderful Fall weather!! It has been great working on the farm with this weather, although it is super dry(has helped the bug population though!) I will have some Halloween candy, children's books, and activity books to give out to kid's tomorrow if you want to bring your kids. It will be another 11 years until Halloween is on a Saturday, so I say let your kids(and me) have fun all day. There will be other vendor's dressing up and giving out goodies, but I am not sure how many? To go with the candy I will have a lot of mixed odd and ends that include collard greens, red Russinan, curly, and Lacinato(dinosaur) Kale, some mixed cherry tomatoes, some green and turning colors slicing tomatoes, mixed eggplant, mostly green bell peppers(still need to buy some trail camera's, some creatures are actually eating all of my colored bell peppers and some green?), butternut squash, a few yard long beans, a great selection of our mixed Summer squash/zucchini, sweet banana peppers, poblano,s jalapenos, garlic(still time to plant!), shallots, some Chinese and regular brocolini(more to come), and maybe a few other odd and ends. Byrma is bringing some ginger tomorrow and I will also be helping Gabe with Sapello farms sell some of their turnips and radishes.(Sadly, I did not get any of those planted so I am happy to help them out since they grow all of their flowers and veggies! No sunflowers are not in season!)
You are welcome to pre-order your farm calendar's and t-shirts at the market. You can prepay or pay when items arrive. Last day to pre-order items for our farm fundraiser is November 7th!!! You will be getting high quality items and/or a calendar with all of our photographs from our farm and of our veggies!!! I will be out of town at my brother's wedding December 5th, so you can start picking up items the week after.( I was adopted and have 8 half sibling who are all very much younger than me, so I am so excited to see 6/8 of my siblings, 13 nieces and nephews(probably more coming), and my birth mom!!!! I have a really good story!
I did get the rest of our butternut squash out of the field this week and finished sorting our garlic so we can start planting it next week. We still need to dig up our sweet potatoes, but hopefully we will have those to sell in a couple of weeks!! All of our lettuce, swiss chard, herbs, and other transplants I finished planting last Friday and growing great and hopefully will be ready in a couple of weeks.

another farm calendar and sell my farm t-shirts again so I am doing our Farm Fundraiser now so you can purchase items for holiday gifts and support our farm at the same time!!! If you have never bought a t-shirt or bag from me, they are super comfy and durable! If all goes well, items will be available for pick up starting in early December. I will be happy to ship items as well for an additional cost to my out of town customers and family. All Order's must be placed by November 7th. There are 4 different colors to choose from for each shirt and sweatshirt. Payments can be made in advance or at time of pick up! Payments accepted: check, cash, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, all credit cards(add 3% to cover fees, sorry!)
