• Must have AT LEAST 1 year of dog grooming experience, reliable transportation, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and willing to get wet!
• Small but very busy salon setting
• W2 employee, commission based pay with good tips

Brush your dogs!!

I’m begging you. It is not fun for your dog or their groomer to have to either de-mat or shave their pelted coats.
If you want a fluffy dog, YOU have to put in the work of maintenance between grooming appointments!
If you can not afford to have your dogs coat well maintained by a professional, then learn to do it yourself!! Or, idk, don’t get a dog that you can’t afford to maintain. 🙄🙄
Proper brushing/combing technique is not a trade secret and your groomer is probably foaming at the mouth to show you how it’s done.
Just ask us for help. We will G L A D L Y point you in tbe right direction as far as tutorials and which tools are worth the money and which ones are all hype. (That CC Coral brush is 1000000% worth its weight in gold though 🫶🏻)
Your dog most likely will need regular grooming for their ENTIRE life, and the only thing standing between them loving their groomer or hating “spa day” is YOU! 🫵🏻
So please, for the love of dog BRUSH THEM!😭

Reason No. 3689 why I will NEVER not have a slip lead on deck at all times!! To the lady wearing blue scrubs chasing her Cavalier KCS down Black Bayou this morning, I am so relieved I decided to come to work early this morning and we were able to catch your pup before something awful happened. And to the people that helped stop the flow of traffic so we could catch the puppy, THANK YOU!!!
My heart is still racing, but damn what a relief!
