Everyone please be mindful of your dogs, actually all pets, this 4th of July. We are already hearing them out here in the country and expect them to continue most likely through the weekend. Make sure they are safe and protected so that they don’t run away from home or so that they are not under any distress at all. Bring them inside with the tv on, or in a comfortable spot. Or, at the very least, put them somewhere where they cant escape (maybe with a radio 📻 and/or also with something comforting). God bless you all and the USA 🇺🇸. Before squashing or disposing of insect, put in baggie as their disease is spread through their f***s. 🙏

Have you seen this insect? If so - kill them every time and dispose of the body.
These are various species of Kissing Bugs. They carry a potentially deadly disease called Chagas which is contagious to humans, dogs and other mammals.
We see several dogs each year affected by this disease and if symptoms are present the dog has a high likelihood of death.

Symptoms include:
- Lethargy
- Weight loss
- Difficulty breathing
- Swollen abdomen

To help prevent the spread of this disease:

1. Seal cracks/crevices around homes
2. Remove woodpiles/rock piles near living areas
3. Use screens on windows/doors
4. Use insecticides indoors and around doorways
6. ***Give Bravecto to your dogs every 90 days. Bravecto has been shown to kill kissing bugs and reduce the transmission of Chagas disease.

July is just about booked up completely and August is getting that way fast. So please don’t miss out on the opportunity to book with me at my indoor facility AC controlled kennels with TVs, numerous outings per day (in their own private yard) and loves, kisses and treats in the evening. I also have cameras everywhere to keep an eye on them in the middle of the night. Please call as soon as possible if you’re wanting anything for the rest of July or August 🙏. It’s best to reach me by text or voicemail as sometimes messenger doesn’t notify me fast or at all 🙁
