Jefferson County Horse Council We invite you to join us in our mission to promote and protect equines in Jefferson County. JCHC is an all volunteer organization.

Whether you are a rider, a trail enthusiast, or someone who shares our passion, there are numerous ways to get involved, from volunteering to attending our events. Meeting attendance is not mandatory and we won't sell or give away your personal information. Our primary goal is to keep our members informed about issues relevant to having horses in Jefferson County. Make your voice heard by joining today!

Happy first day of fall~
Here are some photos from a recent hike on a horse-friendly trail in Rocky Mountain National Park. Ouzul Falls is just one of the out-and-back options. The trail is nicely groomed, there are sturdy wood bridges over water, rock steps, and wood steps, and the trail is shared with hikers. Check online for trail use information.

Join CHR for Mane Event at Colorado Horse Rescue, where your ticket is more than admission.
Mane Event guests will enjoy these unique experiences:
🔥Live Forging Demonstration - Learn about the importance of hoof care and see the craftsmanship required to make the horseshoes that keep our horses moving comfortably.
