I received a funny update a few weeks ago, that reminds me of the Shenanigans from Poppy yesterday.

This update was from Bernice, which is from the same litter as Poppy.

Bernice moved over the mountains from us, and it’s definitely warmer there.

Becky Bernice’s mom has the front loader washer, so the door has to be left cracked open. When her husband comes home from work he puts his dirty clothes right in the washer, and the door is still cracked open. Bernice goes in and gets the socks and underwear, and takes them outside running around with them in the backyard!!
When her parents notice her… she drops them and runs in through the dog door, and lays on the coach. It’s like she is saying she is completely innocent.

These pups are so entertaining!! Hours of love and laughs!!

Nice one Bernice!! ❤ hugs.

I received an update on our girl Poppy yesterday.
This girl has the shenanigans down!!!

The family took a little trip to the lake with their kayaks. Dad took Poppy, and mom took George (the newest family member) but the problem is… Poppy is a mama’s girl!! They got out and were all having fun when Poppy decided she wanted to be with mom! She jumps off dad’s kayak and heads to mom, and dunks mom and George in the lake!! Rheannon wishes it was caught on tape!!

Lesson… Poppy needs to be with her mama!!
Everyone ended up being okay, just wet. I hope it was hot that day!! I know Keith and I have gone on cool days. I was very careful to stay dry! Lol

Rheannon shared really cute pictures of the kids with Poppy, but I try not to show kids unless it’s gotcha day… safety first.

Mabel (Mindy) from Jovie’s last litter, was spayed. It’s always so hard to keep them calm, and the stitches safe, and healing. It looks like Josh and Tabby have it all under control!! The surgical suits are so incredibly helpful. They also add the cone when they can’t keep and eye on Mabel. That is what we did also.

Maverick (Peak from Willows last litter) is very happy to have his sister… they are inseparable!!

We received an update from Lucy/maple from the Bakers dozen. She went to the groomer for her summer clip. She looks absolutely beautiful, and I bet she feels good too! Her groomer does a very nice job!!

A couple pictures from yesterday…
It was a long day for me, I groomed Willow, Jovie and Cricket, and a tidy for Sienna. I also did my mom’s 12 year old, 85 pound goldendoodle, Gunther. I have to do him on the floor, and he is getting to be in rough shape to groom… but he is such a happy boy in life. He is from our very first litter of doodles.
I started at 6:45 am and finished about 1:15

Happy 7th birthday to our girl Willow!! I will be grooming everyone short today. I think they are really going to appreciate it, they don’t want to be outside.

Our boy Bodie/Wolfie vacationed on the Oregon coast!! I can honestly say, It’s one of my favorite places!! I’m hoping Keith, and I can go there in September.
Bodie loved it at the ocean, but not the waves chasing him (His mom is the same!!)

Look at how beautiful Bodie turned out.. he is really gorgeous, and so loved by his parents.
Bodie is from the bakers dozen litter, so Willow/Bingo.

Today is Crickets/Glory 4th birthday!! She looks huge in this picture. Jovie and Willow are not sitting up straight… because of the hats!

With the summer temps heating up, and we are out enjoying all the nice weather… remember what is best for our fur loved ones.

Walks are best in the morning, and evenings, when temperatures are lower, and the ground isn’t hot.

We know our pups love to go with us, but sometimes it’s safer to leave them home in a cool house. The car can heat up very fast, and they are always wearing a coat!
We only take ours when we plan to go to a dog friendly store, where they can go in with us. Also if one of us plans to stay in the car.

Have a great summer… but keep your babies safe.

Here is handsome Raylan… freshly groomed and ready for Summer!! Raylan’s dad John sees a resemblance with Willow and Raylan, and I definitely agree!! Look at this sweet silly baby ❤

Raylan will be 5 years old November 4th.
