🐎 Lipizzaner Foals of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna 🐎

The lineage of the majestic Lipizzaner stallions at the Spanish Riding School of Vienna dates back to the 18th century and remains unbroken to this day. No other horse breed in the world can rival the exceptional breeding, discipline, and training standards upheld by this extraordinary heritage.

Today, more than 70 Lipizzaner stallions reside in the historic Hofburg Palace in Vienna. Each horse embodies centuries of tradition, elegance, and dedication—carefully preserved and passed down through generations.

Just as they were over 400 years ago, these remarkable horses are trained in Vienna by the skilled riders of the Spanish Riding School. Together, they continue to captivate millions of spectators from around the world, showcasing classical horsemanship at its finest.

A living legacy. A timeless art. 🤍

Sometimes what we see with our eyes
is only half the story.
The other half lives in silence —
in memory, in warmth,
in the soft light left behind
by someone who was more than just a horse.

He lies there as if resting after a long journey…
But his spirit stands beside him — calm, gentle, faithful as ever.
Neither cold, nor time, nor distance can break the bond
that once connected two souls so deeply.

The love horses give
never disappears.
It simply changes form —
quieter, softer,
but just as real.

And even when their bodies fall into their final sleep,
their spirits stay close,
whispering:
“I’m here. You’re not alone.”

"One of our sheep wandered under the grain feeder just before it started to rain. The mix of seed, rainwater, and her thick wool created something we never expected: a small patch of grass began to grow right out of her back. It looks like she is carrying a tiny garden with her wherever she goes."

When a crow feels sick, it goes to an ant nest, not to eat the ants, but to bother them. The crow shakes its body, fluffs its feathers, spreads its wings, and lies still while the ants crawl all over it. As they move through its feathers, the ants release formic acid, a natural chemical that helps kill bacteria, mites, and parasites hiding on the crow.

The crow knows what it’s doing. This behavior, called “anting,” is its natural way of healing. Sometimes the crow even picks up ants with its beak and rubs them onto its feathers like medicine. No vet, no pills, just instinct. Nature gave them a cure long before humans invented one.

Finland farmers have been spraying their deer with reflective paint in order to reduce road accidents. Now glowing antlers light up the dark roads like something out of a sci-fi movie. Some say it’s genius, others say it’s just plain weird, but it’s definitely hard to ignore.
