TRAGEDY STRUCK ONE OF OUR AQHA HORSE COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN A SHOCKING WAY TODAY... EVERY AMOUNT OF DONATION HELPS!
💔Katee Johnson, AQHA Globe winner, breeder, owner, non pro, Univ. of Arkansas Ranch Horse Team member alumna, current full scholastic scholar at the University of Mississippi Veterinary school, & team member at The Paschal Group since 2023, fell victim, along with her family, to the unspeakable damage of the storms that roared through Mountainburg, Arkansas today.
💔Katee's entire barn was completely flattened from the 70 mph winds, her horses there narrowly escaped, the home of her parents was partially caved in by giant trees that ripped through it, leaving them displaced. God's grace spared them from harm along with one of her sisters who had just moved back to university the day prior.
💔In short, we need the help of our horse community to help with funds to support the cleanup efforts & the displacement of her family, her horses, & their livestock.

What a great time we had at the East Texas Stock Horse Association/Central Texas Stock Horse Association show this past weekend, giving the Best Yourself Clinic: Cow Work With Intention!

There's a lot to be said for taking the walls away and giving any horse some valuable pasture riding time. Today we needed this filly by Hes Wright On, "Malibu" whom we just started, to focus on traveling & looking ahead. So, we took her outside of those arena walls & showed her some freedom to focus & to not have to worry about me on her back. This allowed her to just find that forward motion. And as always, we end on a positive note. - JonMarc, Crooked J Performance Horses.
