Every barn has a story — but mine just hasn’t stopped telling hers. 👀

When I first bought the place, everyone warned me, “It used to belong to Carol.” They all said it the same way — like a secret you only whisper. Carol ran her barn like a general runs an army: spotless aisles, perfect buckets, no excuses. And when Carol wasn’t happy… no one was.

She died here, years before I came along. A fall from a ladder — that’s what they said. Slipped on a rung, hit her head on the concrete.

But sometimes, late at night, I still hear her boots tapping down the aisle. Shadows move in my peripheral vision. The air gets heavy. And if the barn’s messy? Things… start happening.

I’ve learned one thing: keep the tack straight, the aisles swept, and don’t cross Carol.
