Ive had some questions and concerns about "will this type of training make my dog more aggressive or robotic?" We aren't about creating a robotic dog, aggressive dog or a dog that’s “always on.”
Done correctly, it builds:
• Clear communication between handler and dog
• Confidence under pressure
• Control in high drive
• A dog that can switch on and switch off
Tracking teaches problem solving and patience.
Obedience teaches precision, clarity, and teamwork.
Protection teaches confidence, nerve, and controlled aggression.
The goal is not chaos.
The goal is clarity.
A well-trained IPO dog should be stable, social, and reliable in everyday life, not just impressive on the field.
Good training doesn’t suppress drive.
It channels it.
