Most of the time when puppies come into rescue they can find homes without issue. People line up to take the puppies home. Kumo came to us with her other littermates at 6 weeks old. A few weeks after that she went into a foster to adopt home. We were checking in with them regularly and it seemed like all was going well. Right around the time Kumo turned 6 months old and was getting ready to be spayed the family let us know that the dogs in the home weren't all getting along. That's a normal thing and can definitely happen as puppies age and dynamics change. Kumo came back into the direct care of the rescue as a 6 month old "too old puppy", but "too young" adult dog. On top of that she has black fur making her even more over looked. Kumo was stuck in juvenile black dog limbo with so many other dogs around her needing homes. That was back in December, now August is almost over and Kumo is still waiting. Please consider giving this sweet girl a chance if you're looking for a smart and active dog.
She does need a home with no cats, poultry, livestock, or female dogs. She does well with children and male dogs who don't mind her being the queen bee.
