A program of SeniorCare Inc. All proceeds support the STAY program.

STAY Pet Services was developed in 2018 as a way to increase funding for underfunded programs at SeniorCare Inc. STAY is different from other volunteer programs at SeniorCare as it serves individuals of all ages and charges a fee for services. Today, all proceeds support the STAY program and allow STAY to provide pet care services to low-income elders and adults with disabilities at little to no c

ost. In the past, STAY has received funding from Meals on Wheels America to provide free and discounted pet services on an as-needed basis. STAY aims to enhance the well-being of pets and their humans by assisting with needed care and increasing knowledge of local resources. 🌞 Heat Safety for Pets
Hot Days Can Be Dangerous for our furry friends!

* Always provide cool, fresh water and refill often.
* Make sure your pet has access to shade throughout the day.
* Pavement, sand, and concrete can get extremely hot and burn paw pads.
* Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day. Early morning and evening are safest.
* Excessive panting, drooling, restlessness, vomiting, weakness, or collapse can be signs of heat stroke. If you notice these signs, get help immediately.
* Never leave pets in a hot car. Temperatures rise fast. Even with the windows cracked, it can be deadly.
