Looking for a Way to Make a Difference? Join Our Volunteer Team!

Do you love animals? Want to be part of a community of like-minded, passionate people? Whether you're a new volunteer, a returning one, or just thinking about getting involved, now is the perfect time to jump in and help!

We are always in need of volunteers to assist in a variety of ways, including:
🐾 Dog walking – Give our pups a break from the kennel and some much-needed exercise!
🐾 Cat socialization – Help our kitties feel loved and ready for adoption.
🐾 Events & Fundraisers – Support us at community events, adoption drives, and special fundraisers.
🐾 Vaccine Clinics – Assist with keeping pets in the community healthy.
🐾 Workroom & Shelter Help – Help with cleaning, organizing, and daily care tasks.

😻 $0 Adoption Fees on ALL Cats & Kittens 8/24! 😻

Tomorrow we’re waiving all adoption fees for our cats and kittens! We URGENTLY need to find loving homes for these sweet felines as we’re out of space. We have over 600 in our care still.

Please come out and adopt—your new best friend is waiting for you! We’re open from 11 AM to 4 PM. Every adoption helps save a life. ❤️

Let’s get these kitties out of the shelter and into the loving homes they deserve!

Join us and Philly Bully Team on Saturday, July 20th at 11:30am for a yoga class with puppies at Forged Soul Fitness & Yoga!

This will be yoga with adoptable puppies for a fun and playful yoga class (no experience required) as a fundraiser for the SJRAS and Philly Bully Team!

The pups will be loose during the 45-60 minute yoga class, so expect lots of activity and cute distractions!

Afterwards, enjoy some extra puppy time, shopping of local vendors, and some refreshments! If anyone is interested in adopting any of the pups: you will be able to apply!

Here at Woof & Whisker we provide love and exceptional care when you aren’t there!
We offer: dog walking, drop-in visits for our fur friends small and large (exotics, farm animals, etc), overnight stays (sleepovers), medication administration and more!
Extra love and cuddles free of charge.

My name is Taylor, and I’ve worked with and cared for animals for close to ten years now — from boarding facilities to vet offices to dog walking/pet sitting personally and for other small businesses. My love for critters of all kinds started when I was very young. I grew up with cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, horses, birds, lizards — you name it!

My very best friend at the age of five was a Great Dane named Jake. He sparked my passion for taking care of animals. I remember dreaming of becoming a veterinarian “when I grew up,” like a lot of kids! Although I didn’t pursue that, my love for our furry friends still remains, burning bright as ever. That is my biggest reason for starting this small business.

I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re at work, vacationing, spending time with family or whatever the case may be by providing excellent care tailored to your pet’s specific needs. Because here, they aren’t just a dog, or a cat.. or a fish.
They’re family.
