Orchard Creek Ranch (OCR) is approximately 80-years-old and located between Glenwood Springs and New Castle Colorado. Our orchard is 100% organically maintained, growing heirloom varieties of Jonathan, Rome, and Double Red Delicious apples. OCR U-Pick apple season begins around the mid-to-last weekend of September and runs through October, weather and crop size permitting. In addition to picking a
pples, which are sold by the pound, items for sale include organic fresh-pressed apple cider, apple cider vinegar, dried apple chips, apple wood chips for barbecuing and apple firewood. We have Hemp and lavender infused HONEY, and Lavender products for sale too! OCR also sells 100% certified organic grass/alfalfa hay. Those wanting to pick OCR organic, heirloom apples are invited to pack a picnic lunch and bring the whole family. We recommend participants wear flat, sturdy shoes, a sunhat and bring drinking water.
