Our cats could use a little help filling their bowls! 🐱💜

We are currently in need of dry cat food at the Animal Protective Foundation. With so many cats and kittens in our care, we go through food quickly, and every bag donated helps us keep our shelves stocked and our cats well fed.

If you’re able to help, donations of dry cat food can be dropped off at APF during our regular hours.

Every bag, big or small, makes a difference. Thank you for always showing up for the animals who need us! 💜

Meet the crew:

🐾 Snickers & Hershey — 4-month-old Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mixes who are ready to grow up with families of their very own.

🐾 Dunkin & Java — female 3-month-old black-and-white kittens with plenty of kitten cuteness to go around.

🐾 Salty, Wave & Coral — tiny 1-month-old Domestic Shorthairs who are just beginning their search for forever homes.

Come fall in love! Visit APF Tuesday–Saturday from 12–4:15 pm to meet our available animals and see who might be the perfect addition to your family. 💜

Meet Cookie Monster! 🍪🐰

Don’t let the name fool you... our Cookie Monster is actually a 6-month-old girl and one very cute Rex rabbit!

Cookie Monster is young, curious and full of personality. She enjoys attention and pets, but like many rabbits, she’s still figuring out how she feels about being picked up and held. She’d love a home that will give her the time and patience to get comfortable, while letting her personality shine on her own terms.

With that signature soft Rex fur and an adorable face, Cookie Monster is pretty hard to resist.

Hi, I'm Athena! I'm a sweet 6 year old girl looking for a home where I can truly feel comfortable and confident. I do best with older, mellow kitties and would prefer a home without dogs. I think I'd also shine with older kiddos who understand how important it is to give me space when I need it. A calm home with a predictable routine and schedule would be just my cup of tea! 💜 THE LONELY HEARTS CLUB 💜

Trio, Mozzy and Finnie have been waiting patiently for their people, and we think they’ve waited long enough.

These three wonderful pups have spent a little too much time watching other dogs head home while they continue to wait for their turn. So, we’re hoping a little extra attention will help their forever families find them!

For a limited time, Trio, Mozzy and Finnie’s adoption fees are just $75 each.

They may be members of our Lonely Hearts Club right now, but we’re hoping they won’t be for long.

Come meet them at APF Tuesday–Saturday from 12–4:15 p.m. and help us turn three lonely hearts into three very happy ones. 💜

Meet Cookie! Cookie came to APF as a stray so her new friends here are still learning about her. She loves squeaky stuffy toys- but only if they haven't been used by anyone else. She walks well on leash and gets excited when she sees her harness. Cookie is still working on her confidence in new unfamiliar situations, but responds well to verbal praise and a high value treat. If interested in meeting her and learning more, visit APS Tuesday- Saturday 12 - 4:15PM.
