The summer has certainly carried all of the extremes in weather; from very wet and cool, to dry and hot! We have worked hard to navigate the weather challenges both in maintaining the farm and extensive competing this summer! This season has been loaded with competing and teaching:
GMHA, Saratoga Horse Shows, Larkin Hill Horse Trials as well as Millbrook Horse Trials And the Festival of Eventing! Our team enjoyed lots of success and always had valuable takeaways through the ups and downs of our sport!

Additionally, congratulations to all who have been safe, successful and worked diligently to improve their partnerships with their horses!

Emily, Miriam, Ally, Susan, Taryn, Julia, Dave, Caroline, Andrea, Annika, Kathleen, Linden, Emma, Stephanie, Parker, and Tills!!

Margie and her team's extensive preparation has now included aerovating the show jumping and watering the dressage arenas to give us the best possible footing for our Equine partners!

As the second anniversary of the tragic death of our beloved Wayne Barr passes, not a day goes by that I don’t reflect on how grateful I am to have had Wayne be a special part of our team.
The last couple of years, the month of July has presented some life altering tragedies, both human and equine. More Often than not these devastating tragedies bring out the very best in people.
I am deeply grateful for the continued support of so many Equestrian friends and my family who have carried us through the darkest times.
Ironically, it sometimes brings out a side of people that you rarely see.
I for sure have experienced the entire spectrum of how people behave in tragic circumstances.
It is clear that the deck you are dealt requires you to trust in God, find the silver lining and rely on the positive things in life that help you move forward, one day at a time.
Equestrian life is certainly not for the fainthearted, but adversity does provide many life lessons. Life marches on and Kulak Equestrian continues to prioritize our love and commitment to our horses, genuine kindness, generosity, hard work, fortitude, and incredible resilience!
All qualities that were at the forefront of Wayne’s life.
We love you Wayne and know that you’re keeping a close eye on us all from heaven!

Huge congratulations to team USA at the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival, one of the Premier equestrian competitions in the world!
The US eventing team composed of Will Coleman, Philip Dutton, Boyd Martin and Caroline Pamukcu won the team silver medal, along with Will and Boyd finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
It is especially rewarding for me as three out of the four teammates (Will Coleman, Phillip Dutton & Caroline Pamukcu) are Triple Crown Feed ambassadors! We all work together at a very high standard and to see the US horses look and perform in spectacular fashion is very impressive!
In addition to the three day team, our show jumpers (Laura Kraut, McLain Ward, Kent Farrington & Lillie Keenan) won the world class Nations Cup on Friday!
Congratulations to all the riders along with all the incredible behind-the-scenes people and owners that make this success possible!

The Northeast has experienced some extraordinary weather the past six weeks. Unprecedented rainfall, very cool temperatures and most recently, extreme heat.
Not only is it tough on those of us who work outside, but also our equine partners.
Many small details can help horses through these vast environmental changes.
Proper clothing, fly control, careful evaluation of the footing that they spend extended time in; appropriate training and turnout.
All of these management tools are important for long-term soundness and performance.
Feeding and supplementing horses during these rapidly fluctuating temperatures is also crucial. During all weather conditions horses need exceptional and timely nutritional support.
