‼️There are calls you don’t forget. Today i had one of them.
A client, a law enforcement agent, called and told me there’s a property she has not stopped thinking about since she left it. She told me about animals that need somewhere to go, fast: 7 goats, 25 chickens, 7 cats, 10 dogs, 1 cow, 1 rabbit, and 1 donkey. Every single one of them did nothing wrong. They just need people willing to open a barn, a pen, a spare room, even temporarily, while this criminal abuse case moves through the system. They cannot begin to save these animals until there’s someplace for the animals ‼️
I’m not going to pretend this is a small ask. It’s not. But I’ve seen what this community had done in the past, when animals are in trouble, and I know we can pull this off if enough people say yes to even one animal.
Here’s what we need:
1)Foster or permanent placement for any of the above — you don’t have to take a lot, just what you can handle
2)Barn/pasture space for the livestock (goats, cow, donkey) is especially urgent
3)Anyone with poultry experience for the chickens
4)Transport help getting animals from the property to their new spot
5)Feed, hay, or supply donations if you can’t foster but want to help
I’m trying to spread the word for The Saratoga Task Force. They cannot find a place for these suffering animals and until this happens the healing for these animals cannot begin.
