Sometimes you’re the hammer… and sometimes you’re the nail.
This weekend reminded us real quick that this game will humble you just as fast as it’ll lift you up. We didn’t walk away with the numbers we’re used to - sitting right at a 50% pass rate - but every single dog showed heart, effort, and grit when it counted.
These weren’t young, green dogs either - every one of them being finished dogs, which makes this game even tougher and that much more humbling. Marks get tough, conditions change, and sometimes things just don’t fall into place.
But that’s part of it. That’s what makes the wins mean that much more.
We’ll take the lessons, go back to work, and keep building. Proud of every dog that stepped to the line and every mile that got us here. The comeback is always stronger. 🐾
