Levi is an 8 year-old Pomeranian Mix.

This cute little senior is ready to find his forever family.
Here's a little about him:
Personality: Levi is friendly but cautious - he likes to take his time to warm up to new people, but once he does, you've got a friend for life. Don't let his age fool you, this little guy is still raring to go!
Training & Behavior: May need a refresher on house training.
Health & Wellness: Up to date on vaccines and neutered.
Perfect Home: Levi is looking for a foster to adopt home. We would like to make sure he is comfortable in his new digs before he (and YOU) commit to permanent adoption (2-week trial).

Look who got a new photoshoot!!!!

What would make this a better day is finding this cutie a new home!
Dexter is a 10 year-old, male Chi mix looking for his forever home.
Looking for a furry companion who will bring joy, loyalty, and endless love into your home? Dexter (fondly called Snaggletooth) is the one for you!

This sweet little guy had a rough few months. After likely being hit by a car, and his owner not located, we rescued him and covered surgery to repair his injuries. Now Dexter is healthy and ready to find his forever family.

Here's a little about him:
Personality: Dexter is a big cuddle bug once he gets to know you and he loves to sleep under the covers!
Training & Behavior: May need a refresher in house training.

Health & Wellness: Neutered, up to date on vaccinations.

Perfect Home: Any willing to give Dexter lots of love and cuddles! A home that will possibly let him sleep in a big bed!

Pearl is a 7 year-old poodle who was a breeder dog in a puppy mill. Due to her past she is not well socialized but is loving and open to learning.

She is a very sweet dog, great with all dogs, probably would be fine with cats. Not house trained, but getting there with p*e pads. She is very skittish with people. she is not a biter, but will run away from you if you are within a few feet from her.
There is not a mean bone in her body and would do well in a low key environment with fenced yard. She would never harm anyone but she is very timid.
She would do best in a home with another confident dog. She doesn't bark, but if left in a crate she will let you know when she is ready to come out.

Rescue experience preferred (likely not good for a first timer!) She will be worth all the love you give you this little girl.

Looking for a furry companion who will bring joy, loyalty, and endless love into your home? Wadud could be the one for you!

Say hello to Wadud, a 7-year-old white ball of fluff with a heart full of love and a little voice he's not afraid to use! Wadud was a loyal companion to his previous owner, who sadly had to enter hospice care. Now, this sweet boy is looking for a new lap to cuddle on and a forever family to call his own.

And here's a special note: Wadud's name means "Lover" or "Affectionate" in Arabic-a perfect fit for a pup who lives to love and be loved in return.

Why You'll Love Wadud:
Affectionate & Loyal - Loves snuggles and will happily claim your lap as his favorite spot.
The Perfect Balance - Just the right mix of calm, cuddly vibes and playful energy.

11 year-old CJ is a cool cat outdoor/indoor he is a real character. He likes humans for treats and pets but is very independent. We love our senior cats at Hatton!
Please consider giving CJ a forever home, we cover all vet expenses for his lifetime. He has a great personality- come meet him! All you need is food and lots of love!

✈️ Yesterday morning, 189 dogs and cats left overcrowded shelters in Texas and Louisiana and touched down in New York, Maryland, and New Hampshire—safe, sound, and finally on their way to new beginnings.

This kind of lifesaving work doesn’t happen without a community behind it.

Who we are!

The Hatton Animal Rescue Foundation was founded by Gary and Annette Hatton who saw a great gap in our society when it comes to the care and support of special needs animals and seniors. These animals are the ones most left behind and typically deemed un-salvageable or un-adoptable due to their medical conditions and age.

​We foster many different types of animals with special needs and/or disabilities in the hopes that they will one day be adopted into a loving home. If one cannot be found, we provide the comfort, care and forever home they need.

Due to the nature of farm animals being more challenging to adopt out, these special guys typically become our permanent residents!
