To ensure everyone’s safety, the clinic will close at 6pm today (Monday, March 16, 2026).
This will help to ensure our staff is able to get home safely and ensure safety while our clients are working to get into the clinic for their scheduled appointments.
Please keep this in mind if you have food or medications to pick up as well since there will not be anybody at the clinic to assist you after 6pm.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope everyone stays safe!

EDITING TO ADD:
We did not mean to cause any panic, but did want to notify everyone and be transparent, as this is a recall making national news and circulating social media, etc.
Please have patience while we work to get the 38 patients who need revaccinated contacted. But know that these vaccinations were administered to pets between January 19, 2026 and February 4, 2026. If your pet got the rabies vaccine outside of that window, they are in the clear! If your pet was in and got a vaccine during that time- please know we are working to get everyone contacted as quickly as possible, but you can call in as well and we would be happy to help you!
Again I apologize for any panic our last notification may have caused.
Best Regards,
Carissa Kidwell, Practice Manager

ORIGINAL:
We are writing to inform you of an important recall notification we have been made aware of related to the rabies vaccine we use to vaccinate canine patients at our clinic. Our vaccine manufacturer has informed us that, out of an abundance of caution, it has issued a recall of a specific batch of rabies vaccine. A small number of sterile water vials were inadvertently labeled as rabies vaccines. The supplier has identified and corrected the issue, and no other batches are affected. (The vaccine affected is the Boehringer Ingelheim IMRAB 3TF and the batch is Serial 18665 Expiration 03/12/2027).
Those patients whom received a vaccination from this batch have been/will be contacted directly via phone - followed by an email letter with additional information regarding next steps and revaccination. We ask for your patience as our practice manager works through all of these calls and scheduling.
Your pet’s health and your peace of mind as our clients are the most important things to us. We never like to deliver this type of news to our clients, but in the rare case it happens, we will make every effort to support you in every possible way.
Thank you for understanding and for trusting us with your pet’s care. We are forever grateful to have each and everyone of you as part of out TVC family.
Best Regards -- Dr. Heather Stup (Owner), Dr. Dina Jones (Owner), Dr. Susan Oltman (Owner), Dr. Karen Joines (Associate), & Carissa Kidwell (Practice Manager)

The result is in!
We got approximately one domestic cat of snow... 9.2 inches in Glenelg!
Suzanne Wollen-Roberts is our closest guess with 10 inches. Congratulations! I will be in touch regarding your winnings!

Our top priority will always remain the safety of our staff, clients, and patients!

This being said, we are monitoring the impending winter storm headed our way. In the case of inclement weather, ALWAYS be sure to check here, our website, AND call the office BEFORE coming in to ensure we are open.

Any closures will be announced as soon as possible. The most up to date information will always be here and on our voicemail, but the practice manager does her best to update the website homepage whenever possible as well.
If the clinic does close and you have a scheduled appointment, a TVC team member will reach out to you as soon as possible to get you rescheduled.

Let's make this fun... How much snow do you think we will get? Take your guess in the comments below, the closest guess will win a prize! Winner will be announced next week!
{Glenelg being the area of measurement}

Think back to this day in 2006.... what were you doing? It was a Friday, mid-30's (colder day than the rest of the days that month) and the world was gearing up for all kinds of things that the year would bring; Sports excitement like the Steelers winning the Super Bowl, Miami Heat getting their 1st NBA title, or the Carolina Hurricanes winning their 1st Stanley Cup! Entertainment things like the launch of Twitter, or Disney's purchase of Pixar! Even some sadder things like the tragic loss of wild life educator and conservationist, Steve Irwin.
But why do I bring this to you today? Well, I want to congratulate Triadelphia Veterinary Clinic on having its doors open for 20 years officially as of today!
Since the doors opened 20 years ago, we have had the pleasure of meeting and becoming family with 9,264 clients as of today! Our patient database can be a bit more tricky to get the most accurate count of how many pets we have actually seen with all of our inactive patients or furry friends who have crossed over the rainbow bridge, but the estimation is around 36,000 pets!
WOW!
What an honor it has been the last 20 years serving all of these clients and patients, becoming family with you all!
We wish Drs. Stup, Jones, and Oltman a HUGE congratulations for their 20 years so far!
We hope to have many more years here with them, Dr. Karen, and all of you wonderful clients and pets!

Share with us what you were doing 20 years ago in the comments!

Although at the end we still want to wish a very happy Hanukkah to all those who celebrate (and we are so sorry for the delay-the crazy holiday rush definitely gets the best of us all!).

We also want to take a minute to remind everyone of some potential hazards this holiday season. Be sure to keep your pets safe and reach out if something is to happen.
Don’t forget to call in any medication or food refills ASAP for the best chance of having them filled prior to our holiday closures. An additional reminder that if you are in dire need of a refill, please call and speak to a receptionist rather than leaving it on the prescription refill line - this allows our staff to ensure the process is started as soon as possible so that you can get what is needed.

As a reminder, we will be closed on Thursday so our staff can spend time with their families for Thanksgiving.
If your pet is in need of any medication or prescription food refills, please contact the clinic ASAP! This will give you the best chance of us having time to get your request processed in time for pick up by the time we close at 7 PM tomorrow.
We cannot guarantee any medication refills called in tomorrow to be filled in time for pick up by closing. We will do everything in our power to help you and your pet to ensure no lapse in their treatments.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
