🚨 URGENT! PLEASE HELP US SAVE MILLIE! 🚨

Sweet Millie has been part of her family since she was a puppy, but after moving into a new apartment, the landlord has given them just 24 HOURS to remove her from the home.

Millie is only 3 years old, friendly, sweet, and loved. She doesn’t understand why everything is suddenly changing, and without a foster placement, she may be shelter-bound.

We are pleading with our community: please open your home to this little girl and help us keep her safe. Even a temporary foster can make all the difference.

We provide the supplies and support. You provide the shelter and love.

Happy Birthday to our fierce Hero Michele! Oh to have a heart like hers! No matter the circumstance, she doesn’t shy away from helping an animal or partner with someone that needs help in helping an animal.

She’s selfless, passionately dedicated to the voiceless and is non-stop! As a volunteer she is the epitome of a super hero! So much goes on behind the scenes. If she’s not rescuing a SCARS hero or supporting the team, she’s tirelessly collaborating and networking with other rescue leaders throughout the state to help an animal in need. Calls for help come in daily! She doesn’t look away and ignore the issue, she believes the pups are counting on her to help! Never says “I can’t,” always says “there has to be a way!”

Michele, we wish you a Pawtastic birthday filled with love, joy, laughter and of course lots of pup kisses! Thank you for all you do and for creating a community for each of us to wear our capes proud to help animals in need!

🟡UPDATE: Boys are out of state now. They are safe and have rescue lined up to help them.

🚨 ZEUS & SCRUFFY HAVE NOWHERE TO GO. As THEY NEED A FOSTER HOME TOGETHER NOW. 🚨

These 12-year-old Chihuahua brothers have spent their entire lives side by side, but through no fault of their own, they are at risk of entering the shelter unless someone can foster them together immediately. Separating them after 12 years would be heartbreaking, so we urgently need a loving home willing to welcome both senior dogs.

These little seniors are only about 8–9 lbs each, neutered, house/potty trained with occasional accidents, vaccinated, and had dental care last year. They are able to stay alone for several hours. Haven’t been cat tested and do well with other dogs.

We are asking our SCARS families to please step up for Zeus & Scruffy. They have already spent 12 years side by side, they deserve to stay together and feel safe during this uncertain timWe provide the supplies and support. You provide the shelter and love.

Our sweet hero Lexi urgently needs a new foster home, at no fault of her own.

Lexi appears to be a 2-year-old, 16 lb Jack Russell Terrier mix. A little more about her:

She just needs a safe place to land while she waits for her forever family. You provide the shelter and love, and we provide the support and supplies.

Sweet Sadie needs someone to step up and help us save her from entering the shelter. She is a tiny 5 lb, 12 yr old sweetheart who is loving, healthy, and good with dogs and children. She deserves to spend her golden years feeling safe and loved and not scared in a shelter, facing possible euthanasia.

Cleo Adopted!

Our sweet Cleo has found her forever home! She now goes by Tuna, and we couldn’t be happier for this little hero. She is living her very best life with her wonderful new family and has already fallen head over paws for her new fur-sibling. They’re quickly becoming the best of friends!

A heartfelt thank you to Cleo’s amazing foster family for opening their home and hearts. Your love, patience, and care gave her the chance to thrive while she waited for her perfect match. Heroes like you make rescue possible.

Congratulations to Tuna and her forever family! Thank you for choosing adoption and giving this deserving girl the happy ending she always deserved. Congratulations to all!
