🚨Fireworks in your neighborhood? This is a reminder to do a check-in to ensure your dog/cat is geared up to have identification in-case they need to alert others where they belong.

Is your dog/cat ready? Help them be prepared to let people know where they belong. That is their communication key to the outside world. They are counting on us to keep them safe.

*Are they wearing their collar with tag?
*Is the info on the tag legible?
*Is the info on the tag current?
*Are they microchipped?
*Is the microchip registered and have your current information?
*Can they escape from your yard?

Keep them safe and help them with their anxiety. Fireman cause many pets to run away out of fear. Safety first! Check their collar and tag and ensure their chip info is up to date.

End of year Giving 🐾

2025 flew by! Our squad grew with new heroes; 2 and 4 legged! We welcomed new fosters that helped them heal internal/external scars, nursed them, taught them to live indoors, loved them, taught them trust and introduce them to the beautiful side of humanity.

Adoptions were slow this year. However, we are proud of the adoption matches we made. We never settled; always chose the best match. We still have several pups that will require long-term care and rehab, including our vintage heroes who are in fospice care. No matter how long it takes, they will have our squad to love and protect them.⠀

We kept our bonded heroes together and remain committed to matching them with families that will treasure them together. We saved several medical dogs that required thousands of $ of medical care (we still have a big portion of those balances to pay). We saved several behavioral heroes that will need long-term rehab from the trauma and abuse they experienced in their past. We also saved several senior pups that were discarded by their families at the shelter or were labeled as strays by the shelter.⠀

We receive requests to help daily. Our President Michele, networks dogs in need behind the scenes. We are grateful for the other Rescue Groups we work closely with, because there is strength in numbers.⠀

We want to thank our squad families that adopted our fur-heroes and chose to rescue! We are blessed to call you family. We want to thank and honor or foster families who lovingly and selflessly open their homes and hearts to help save heroes. You are amazing heroes who love them and serve as their advocates and nurturers. Without you we can’t save them. You are the heartbeat of this rescue effort.

We are infinitely thankful to our friends, partners and supporters who have contributed to our mission. Thank you for trusting us with your donations... your contributions allow us the means to help pups beyond our resources, however with your help and support we made it possible to help dozens of heroes in need.

It’s a happy day! Our beautiful hero Jessie has earned her superhero cape and got adopted. Her new name is Maeve.

Her new family is thrilled to welcome her and shower her with love. She has many fur cousins and one happens to be an alumni hero too!

We want to thank her amazing foster family for caring for her and nurturing her so abundantly during her stay in their loving home.; you are amazing heroes! Congratulations all!

Second vet visit for our Christmas puppy trio. Jack, Nick, & Winter are officially 8 weeks old now. They each gained a pound and weigh 3 lbs. They got their first set of puppy vaccines and are in great health.

They have been dewormed and are now acclimated to their kibble and wet food diet. They are super smart and already purposefully using the p*e pad for potty time.

We need more supplies for them. Please visit out AMAZON and Chewy.com wishlists to help us provide the fosters with these essential supplies.

Puppy Trio Update🐾

The babies are doing great! It’s been one week since they joined our squad and they’ve been keeping their foster parents very busy. The babies eat, sleep, potty, play, explore, and repeat all day/night long. Everyone is having lots of fun however supplies are about to run out.

The puppies are on canned food, kibble, goat’s, milk, and use a lot of p*e pads. If you are able to contribute with any of these supplies, we greatly appreciate it. Please visit our wish lists to place an order. Thank you for your continued support and help we can thank you enough!

Heroes Helping Heroes 🐾

Two new heroes. Different stories, now being there for each other.

Sophie just survived Devore shelter a few days ago and is healing from her spay. She’s sweet and resilient.

We had a Foster in line when we saved her from the shelter and they decided not to foster her after all. We had to pivot immediately and thankfully placed her in a loving and patient home. They have their hands full with other fosters but couldn’t let Sophie feel stranded. They say she’s an absolute dream; such a very good girl.

The foster family is also fostering the new little puppy trio and Sophie has been a sweetheart to the babies who are missing their mama. She lets them lay by her and snuggle.

Sophie was on the euthanasia list scheduled to die and we were fortunate to get her out just in time. She’s extremely mellow, loving and eager to love. Beautiful how things turn out. It was meant for her to be at the sesame foster home as the babies. They needed each other.

People often say, we are heroes for saving them, however the pups do far more for us than we do for them. We help each other; heroes helping heroes.

We can’t imagine sweet Sophie falling victim to the euthanasia list. She is quite literally a perfect girl. She’s grateful and shows her gratitude often. She’s already made a huge impact in a few days… imagine how much love and joy she will be spreading for the rest of her life.

As you know, Kane is an amazing hero. He is the goodest boy! He’s hoping Santa will bring his forever family in time for the Holidays.

Kane is smart, handsome, loving, affectionate, and overall wonderful, but did you know he also does tricks and he’s super smart too!?

Kane has known love his whole life and is patiently waiting for a new forever loving family. He will bring soo much love and happiness to a wonderful home. He’s great with children and other dogs.

Fresh Cut 🐾

Our handsome hero Winston got a fresh haircut and looks darling! He’s a two year-old long-haired dachshund and weighs about 12 pounds.

Winston has been through a lot this year after losing his home in the Palisades fires, but has remained sweet, loving, and resilient. Winston is a happy boy. He is smart, housebroken, love, dogs and children. He’s a cuddle bug. He loves to snuggle.

Winston is hoping to spend the holidays with his new family. He is available to adopt and ready to come home.
