Hooray! Mr. Littles’ adoption day is finally here, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate him!
This San Bernardino Shelter survivor, formerly known as Inmate , has officially found his forever home! His new name is Finnegan (aka Finney).
Finney’s journey nearly ended before it began. He arrived at the shelter wearing a collar with his owner’s information, and despite staff’s efforts to reunite him with his family, no one ever came for him.
Fearful and overwhelmed in the shelter environment, Finney was eventually placed on the euthanasia list. When we learned about him, we knew we had to help.
A heartfelt thank you to his incredible foster family for giving him the chance he deserved. They welcomed him into their home, helped him build confidence, and surrounded him with patience and love. With them, Finney celebrated holidays, reached important milestones, and discovered what it means to feel safe and cherished. They will always be part of his story, and we’re grateful they’ll keep in touch in his life.
Today, Finney starts an exciting new chapter with his wonderful mama, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her to our squad. A lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and love awaits.
Stories like Finney’s remind us why we do this. Shelter dogs, the fearful, overlooked, and abandoned dogs deserve a chance. Often, they become the most loyal and loving companions.
