Help Virgil have a Leap of Faith

Virgil is a rescue kitty that was trapped in Casitas del Mesa last September during TNR. He was too young to be fixed so he became a rescue. He quickly warmed his way into our hearts and the hearts of our volunteers. He was adopted out at the end of February and returned 13 days later. He came back with a limp on his left rear leg. He had x-rays done and a thorough exam. The conclusion was he has a ruptured patellar tendon and needs an orthopedic surgeon to fix it. This injury is not a common one that just happens. It usually is caused by yanking on the leg by someone or something or getting his leg stuck somewhere. The surgery and treatment will cost between $3,000-$4,000. Will you help us help Virgil save his leg so he can once again be the leaping cat he once was🙏
