Rawlings is 1 1/2 years old and is an active Brittany boy. He would do best living with another dog friend and someone who is home more than not. He needs a large yard where he can run and hunt the trees for birds and look for lizards. No apartment living.

Jake, the Springer Spaniel, is looking for his furever home.

This 7 yr old handsome fella came to us in a round-about way after his owner passed away.

Jake is larger than the typical Springer. While he actually could put on some weight, he is approximately 55 lbs.

Jake loves to run, explore and search for critters. He will need an active family that will take him for walks or hikes. He would do best with a family that is home more than not.

Jake is house trained and crate trained. Like Joey on Friends, he does NOT share food. If you have another dog, he will need to be fed separately. He’s good during treat time, just not during meals where more food is involved. He is good with most dogs. We would recommend no cats.

Jake is currently being treated for tick fever. He should be finished with his treatment in approximately two weeks and then retested.

Jake is located in a foster home north of Prescott, AZ.

In December of 2023, we were contacted by an animal emergency clinic that a Brittany had been hit by a car. No owner was present.
Both of his front legs were broken.

We immediately said yes because we knew we could reach out to our supporters and PACC911's Critical Care Program. This program helped make Tyson's treatment possible. While it didn't cover all of Tyson's expenses, we were grateful for the assistance.

Tyson, now named Copper, has a new home and graduated at the top of his class!

Gila County Animal Care & Control is seeking the owner of this sweet girl who was found as a stray on Kachina Trail near the Gila County Fairgrounds.

❤️ Nickname: "Shorty" (We know this may not be her actual name, but she has adjusted to it very well while in our care.)
🐾 Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer
🎨 Color: Chocolate
♀️ S*x: Female

When Shorty arrived at our shelter, she did not have a collar, registration, or a microchip, so we were unable to identify or contact an owner associated with her.

If you recognize this dog or know who she belongs to, please contact Gila County Animal Care & Control as soon as possible.

URGENT: Owner moving out of state July 1st.

Looking for a new home: Bailey. Brittany mix, spay female, 4/5 years. House broken, uses doggy door, currently an only dog but gets along with other dogs.

Hazel found herself as a stray in a Texas shelter. She was rescued by a nice person and then transported to Arizona.

Although the shelter listed her as 3 years old, her pearly white teeth and behavior leads us the believe she may be closer to 1 1/2 yrs.

Hazel loves people and believes snuggling is her job. She’s good with the other dogs and loves to run and play.

Hazel is most likely a Brittany mix possibly with some terrier or herding breed. But she is smart, lovable and willing to learn.

Update: Miss Carly had her surgery on March 24th. She’s had some complications, but now seems to be on the road to recovery. As you will see by the picture below, she has a pretty large incision that had to be reopened and cleaned out a week later. Poor baby.

The pathology report also came back stating the masses were cancerous but with clean margins.
The vet suggests, however, that she have chest X-rays again in a few weeks and then every 3 months.

Carly will remain in her permanent foster home where she is well cared for and loved.
