As springtime approaches, we tend to see more puppies. We generally get the same question every year: how soon should I have them groomed? Check out the link below for an article that will answer a lot of grooming questions!

*It is important to start introducing grooming BEFORE you bring them to us. The more prepared they are prior to their first appointment, the better the experience will be!
*Using a soft brush is great to get them used to the motions of brushing.
*Touching everywhere on their body multiple times a day will help them be primed for your groomers touch. Areas like paw pads, nails, ears, eyes, and face. Holding their chin helps us greatly!
*Brushing their teeth will help keep their mouths and gums healthy. Start by letting them lick the toothpaste and then slowly brushing one tooth at a time.
*Using a hair dryer around them will help them get used to the noises of a salon, as well as the heat and pressure from a dyer. Being accustomed to loud noises will help them in other areas of life as well!
