Pupdate from Onynx! 💎

Onynx is from our Gemstone litter by Jemma & Hype! His litter name fit so well that his new family decided to keep it. He is a multigenerational bernedoodle and weighs 37lb at 6 months.

⚠️ We’ve made some changes to our stud service policies. ⚠️

We’ve both downsized the number of studs in our program, and will be limiting the use of our studs to outside programs. This is not intended to close our lines or to gate keep genetics. This change is intended to ensure that I can feel 100% comfortable and proud of every single way that I am contributing to the doodle community. For the breeders who align with my values and have similar quality standards, I am happy to collaborate! For novice breeders wanting to learn and do better, I am happy to mentor.

This is about more than just health testing. It’s an honor and huge responsibility to produce the next generation of dogs. Let’s make amazing, healthy puppies with nice structure and sound temperaments! Let’s provide professional communication and excellent education for our clients. Let’s take excellent care of our dogs and puppies, including regular grooming, vetting, and using only humane training methods. Let’s make sure that we have enough time, space, and resources to care for every single animal in our care without compromise. Let’s stand behind our dogs for the entirety of their lives with health guarantees for things that fall outside of our control and ensure that no dog we ever produce ends up in a shelter. Let’s prove all the anti-doodle narratives wrong!

Beautiful mama Jemma 💕

Jemma is a love bug! She is so affectionate and gives the best smiles when she’s happy! She is the perfect combo of playful and chill. She is queen of the sploot! She loves laying with her belly on the cold floor and her legs kicked out like a frog behind her. Her favorite toy is her joyhound hotdog. She is easy going with a low prey drive and is great with kids and other animals. Jemma is a wonderful mom and we can’t wait to meet her second litter in November!

Change of plans ⚠️

We had planned to breed Jemma to Dug for a litter of golden mountain doodles, but had to make a last minute change. Sweet inexperienced Dug wasn’t able to perform his studly duties so we decided to breed Jemma to Marvel. Special thanks to Marvel’s guardians for accommodating our last minute Hail Mary!

While I was looking forward to our first litter of Dug pups, I’m in no way disappointed about this change because I LOVE Marvel puppies! He has sired four litters of perfect golden mountain doodles so I have no doubts this litter will be equally amazing! 🤩

Marvel and Dug are actually cousins! They are very similar in appearance and temperament, with some slight differences. With the change in papas we expect the pups to have more white on them, I.e. white blazes and there will likely be parti pups. This pairing also increases our chances of brown tricolor and brown tricolor parti pups. Marvel also doesn’t have the ability to produce curly coats, so all pups will have wavy or straight coats while still being low to least shedding. Lastly, Marvel is about 7lb heavier than Dug so we’re expecting these pups to be 50lb+ at adulthood.

Jemma’s pregnancy will be confirmed in October via ultrasound. Stay tuned for pupdates!

Moriarty is turning out just as lovely as I’d hoped! This sweet dude is 76lb at just 8 months old, so he’s gonna be a big boy! He is gentle natured, affectionate, and so chill!

His mama says “I got the best one of the litter!”, but I’m pretty sure we all feel like we got the best one! 😂 This litter was just perfection!
