ATTENTION Pet Parents!

A chemical used in Milk-Bones, Ol’Roy, Kibbles’n Bits, Hill’s Pet Food and other pet foods should no longer be considered safe for consumption due to concerns about its ability to damage DNA according to a new animal-model study.

According to the Environmental Working Group: “A scientific panel created by the European Food Safety Authority found that titanium dioxide “can no longer be considered as safe when used as a food additive.” The panel, citing concerns about titanium dioxide’s genotoxicity, or its ability to damage DNA, based its conclusion on a review of hundreds of scientific studies. EWG called on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to quickly consider whether to ban titanium dioxide from use in food."

A chemical that may damage our pet's DNA should not be fed to pets.

My sweet girl is still not feeling well. She has.vomited several times, will not take her pain meds even if I wrap them in cheese or peanut butter ( her favorites). I've coached her out of the crate 2times today to go out to potty but she is still just hanging her head. I've called the vet's office and they assured me it's just from the sedation and pain but I just cant help but worry myself. It's hard to watch her like this. I've checked her incision and all looks well. I guess it's just going to take a few days before she feels better. They assured me she will eat when she is hungry and that dogs will not starve themselves. I just wish she would take her pain meds

Momma and daddy wondering where their kids went?! I told them all.of their sweet babies are safe and warm and getting all the love and attention they deserve. I know it looks like Remi is sad but thats just her normal RBF hahaha. They were actually just mad that I wouldn't let them stand in the way last night while I cooked dinner and R***r just wanted to counter surf for something tasty to eat haha.

Mary is settling in nicely. Her momma.sent me this photo of her just chilling with her children on the sofa. Oh and guess what? They are keeping her name but instead of Mary it's now Merry !!! Love it

Miss Allison ( Georgia) gotcha day bath. She did absolutely perfect for the bath but this is the face I got when bath time was over haha.
She has been delivered now and is on her way home. We were getting her all situated in the car and it was sooo cold that I decided to just send her on her way and they will send me a gotcha day photo when she gets to her new home

Soaking in every last minute with our last little girl before she heads to her family today. These littles are really going to miss her and so are we. She is such a sweet smart pup. I didn't want her to sleep in the whelping pen alone last night without her sisters so I just left her out in the dog room, left R***r's crate door open and of course Remi sleeps in what she thinks is HER recliner so right before I headed up to bed I peeked in the check on her and she was snuggled up to her daddy in his crate. I couldn't get a photo because by the time I came back with my phone R***r had heard me and had come out of his crate.. it was the SWEETEST thing ever. R***r has to be the best dog and most patient dog ive ever kmow. He puts up with a ton of shenanigans from.all the pups we have had and all of these little dachshunds.

Mary has made it home to South Carolina. Her momma said she did fantastic on the 7 hour ride home. She is checking out her new crib. Momma will update us all tomorrow with more photos and maybe a new name

Last but not least. Allison ( Georgia Bell) will be headed to her new family tomorrow. Look at those paws and nose . Ill let yall guess what they have all been doing. Its fun being the last one here because you get to hang out " upstairs" in the big house and get ALL of the attention. She is handling it very well being without her sisters.

First time EVER having 2 pups escape the whelping pen. I usually take them all outside by 630 but because it is soooo cold this morning I was going to wait till about 730.. well, these 2 said " we want out". I was like how in the world did yall escape and all I can figure is they "climbed" the pen. Smart pups. I see crates in these pups future.

Smart smart pups. First night with the " litter box " and they did great. I spend about an hour every morning cleaning up after them so you have no idea how happy I am that they took right to the p**p pool.
