Our community is rallying around one of our own right now. ❤️

One of our very own community members, Paula Nadeau, was recently involved in a terrible motorcycle accident. She is not only a familiar face in our community, but someone who selflessly serves it every single day as part of McClenney Fire and Rescue. She has spent her time protecting and caring for others, and now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Patriot Pups is serving as an official cash donation drop-off location to help support her during recovery. If God has placed it on your heart to give, you’re welcome to bring donations directly to the shop during business hours.

Every prayer, every share, and every act of kindness means more than words can express. Let’s come together and lift her up during this incredibly difficult time. 🙏❤️

Today is one of those days that sits heavy on the heart. Sweet Jackson crossed the rainbow bridge, and I’m struggling to find the right words for a boy who meant so much. For nearly four years, I had the honor of grooming him, but he was never just a client to me. He was family. His people are family.

Jackson was the kind of dog you don’t forget… the sweetest kisses, the best manners, always so happy and playful in his younger days. And as time gently carried him into his senior years, I got to watch him soften into the most calm, gentle, and relaxed soul. I was blessed to care for him beyond the shop as well, stopping by to visit him, let him out, and spend time with him in the comfort of his own home. Those quiet moments meant more than I can even explain.

I am truly heartbroken and will miss him more than words can say. Run free, sweet boy. You were so deeply loved, and you always will be. 🐾💔

The storm that came through this afternoon knocked out our power at 4:50 PM, and unfortunately we are still without electricity. The estimated restoration time has continued to change. It first showed 10:30 PM tonight, then 11:15 PM, and the latest update now says 1:00 PM tomorrow (March 17th).
Because of this, I will unfortunately have to cancel tomorrow’s grooming appointments. As much as I absolutely hate to inconvenience everyone and miss out on the revenue (Lord knows every bit counts), my hands are tied until power is restored.
I will be reaching out to each affected client to get everyone rescheduled as quickly as possible. I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we wait for the power to come back on.

If anyone else around here is still sitting in the dark tonight, I’m right there with you.
