On 4/11/23, I had to say goodbye to my buddy Maxie. It was the hardest thing I ever did. He stopped eating last week and the vet had to hydrate him. He ate for a few days then stopped eating again. It was too much of a hardship on him to keep hydrating him. I’ve been so utterly devastated and sad down to my toes. I miss him so much. He was my little buddy for 10 years and had made so many dog friends thru The Max Motel. I want to thank all of the dog owners that I have met along the way and how much Max enjoyed their company while staying here. I’m not sure if the Max Motel will continue, so for now it will be closed during this time of sadness.

Max gettin’ some lovin’ from his doctor!

Max is home with a new bed but he can’t decide which one is more comfy! Silly dog! Glad to have him back home. He’s down 2 lbs. Now 17.4 lbs.
