We are SOOOO excited to welcome back an incredible group of college students for the summer season! ☀️

These students are all pursuing degrees in Animal Science, Biology, and Environmental Sciences while continuing to gain hands on experience caring for the pets we love so much. 🐾

At Taking the Lead Pet Care, we are very selective about who joins our team, and this group of young scholars has consistently impressed us with their professionalism, reliability, maturity, and genuine passion for animal care.

We are very proud to have them back for another busy summer and excited for our clients to get to know them!!

Yesterday we received very sad news that a long time client and friend sweet Mac had crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈 🐾

For years, it was our privilege to care for this gentle soul and be part of his story.
Dogs like Mac leave paw prints far beyond the floor, they become part of our hearts, our routines, and our lives.

We are holding his family close today and remembering all the love, loyalty, and quiet joy he brought to everyone who knew him. Run free, handsome boy. ❤️

One minute she’s politely offering a toy like a little lady… and the next she’s launching herself at the camera like she just drank three espressos and spotted a squirrel! 😄

Puppyhood is precious, hilarious, messy, and ridiculously cute! Honestly, we wouldn't want it any other way.

Some of you already know Laura. She joined our team 3 years ago bringing with her a lifelong love and passion for animals. Along with her expertise she is also a certified Reiki practitioner! 😍

Her ability to read and respond to each pets individual needs allows her to create a calm, balanced experience especially for those who need a little extra support.
