Comfort for Critters

Comfort for Critters CFC is a social entrepreneurship working to comfort homeless pets in animal shelters.

We publish books of easy & fun crochet patterns for pet blankets and ship our free blankets (made by volunteers) to 500+ animal shelters across the US. We're a group of animal lovers who create handmade (knit, crochet, sewn) blankets which we donate to 400+ animal shelters in every US state. While shelter pets await adoption, the blankets provide a comfortable bed year-round. When they are adopted

, their blanket goes with them, providing something familiar as they adjust to their "forever family." Together we're making a difference to homeless pets and the people who love and care for them!

A special shoutout to a Comfort For Critters who handmade and donated adorable blankets to keep our kittens warm. Now our kittens and cats have some extra comfort and color with these new blankets!

The shelter can be an overwhelming place, especially for cats arriving as strays and suddenly adjusting to an unfamiliar environment. A cozy blanket can help make them feel like they have a safe and secure place while they’re here.
