One of the most rewarding parts of what we do at BRAWA is welcoming kids from our community who come to visit, learn, and spend time with our animals. Humane education is such an important part of our mission, and we love seeing young people grow in compassion, kindness, and respect for animals.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of South Green Elementary's kindergarteners stopping by for a visit! We are so grateful for the families, teachers, and especially the kids who continue to support our shelter and help create a more compassionate community for animals and people alike. 🐾💙

So much gratitude for everyone who made this weekend’s "Bikers for BRAWA" event a success! We had a wonderful time and are incredibly thankful to the KMA/KBA for their generosity in donating all proceeds from the event to BRAWA.

Your support means so much and will help us continue caring for animals in need in our community. Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, and showed their support — we are truly grateful! 🐾🏍️❤️

This year marks an incredible milestone for BRAWA as we celebrate 30 years of compassion, care, and second chances for homeless animals in our community.

To make this anniversary even more special, we’re combining our 30th Anniversary Celebration with the 16th Annual Shake Your Paw Ball for one unforgettable evening on Saturday, July 25!

Join us as we celebrate three decades of lifesaving work while enjoying:
