We're grateful to Southtexasnews for sharing how Operation Foster helps veterans and families in crisis by providing temporary foster care for their beloved companions—so they can focus on healing, recovery, and service, not surrender. ❤️🐾

Every day, veterans enter PTSD treatment, service members deploy, and patients begin lengthy hospitalizations. Yet many face an impossible choice: get the help they need or keep their beloved pet.

BMO quickly figured out the dog door and took plenty of time to sniff around and get acclimated. He has many options, but of course my bed is the best place to nap—so, well, you see... it's his now. 😊

He was initiated into our Sunday night Mexican dinner tradition and got along great with everyone!

This little boy is so sweet, attentive, and happy. I am beyond grateful and blessed to have him in my life, even if only for a short while."

Blue needs a foster home while his owner attends Army training. 🐾💙

Blue is a 3-year-old Weimaraner with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. His owner is answering the call to serve our country and is looking for a loving foster home where Blue can be safe, happy, and cherished while she's away at training.

Blue is the definition of a velcro dog. He loves being with his humans and is happiest when he's right by your side. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, going for a walk, swimming, or playing fetch, Blue is ready to be your loyal companion.

This handsome boy has plenty of energy and loves outdoor adventures, especially swimming and chasing a ball. Despite his active side, he's perfectly content to curl up and relax as long as he's with his favorite person.

Blue gets along well with people and is eager to be part of the family. He would do best in a home without dogs and with someone who enjoys having a devoted shadow wherever they go.

Lady Grace's owner recently learned she will be PCSing to Guam and, heartbreakingly, cannot bring her beloved dog along. Now this young girl needs a foster family to love her until they can be reunited.

Lady Grace is the kind of dog who loves with her whole heart. She wants to be close to her people at all times—curled up beside you on the couch, resting her head on your feet while you get ready for the day, or snuggled under a blanket when it's time to relax. Her happiest moments are simply being near the people she loves.

At just one year old, Lady Grace is playful, affectionate, and full of life. She loves running with other dogs, playing tug-of-war, and greeting everyone she meets with enthusiasm and love. When the world feels overwhelming, all she wants is a reassuring cuddle and a place where she feels safe.

Her owner is making a sacrifice to serve our country and hopes someone will open their heart and home to Lady Grace during this difficult separation. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who will fill your days with love, laughter, and endless affection.

Pumpkin and Zombie are a bonded pair of 3-year-old cats looking for a loving foster home while their owner serves our country overseas.

Pumpkin is a sweet orange tabby who loves pets, naps, and the occasional burst of zoomies. When he wants attention, he'll rub against you and gently let you know it's time for some affection. Zombie is a gentle tortie who enjoys relaxing nearby and sleeping next to her favorite people. When she wants attention, she'll dramatically flop onto the floor and roll around to make sure you notice her.

Both cats can be shy at first and need a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but once they feel comfortable, their loving personalities shine through. Pumpkin & Zombie should be fostered together.

Reiner needs a foster home while his owner serves overseas. 🐾💙

Reiner is a handsome 1-year-old Siamese cat looking for a loving foster home while his owner completes a one-year military assignment in Korea.

This sweet boy is the total package—playful, affectionate, and incredibly cuddly. Reiner loves chasing toy mice, batting around soft balls, and pouncing on toys with bells. When playtime is over, he's happiest curled up beside his favorite person, watching TV, taking naps, or being held like a baby.

Reiner is a curious companion who wants to be involved in everything you're doing. Whether you're working, relaxing, or simply moving around the house, he'll likely be right there beside you. He also enjoys watching the world go by from a sunny window and has even been known to help out by catching the occasional bug.

Friendly with people and other cats, Reiner is a loving young cat with a gentle personality and plenty of affection to share.

🐾❤️ Welcome Home, Chopper! ❤️🐾

Chopper was reunited with his owner, and while we're so happy he's back where he belongs, he's already missed by his foster family!

As his foster, Wendy shared:

"We miss him already, but we are so grateful to have had Chopper in our family and to have made a new friend in Sam and his mom."
