Veterinary reception is not “just answering phones.”

It is emotional triage.
It is operational control.
It is being kind when people are rude.
It is being precise when everything is moving at once.
And somehow still smiling through all of it.

That is not “just reception.”
That is skill.
That is labor.
That is intelligence.
That is leadership.

The Vet CSR exists because this role deserves to be seen clearly.

We’re veterinary receptionists—the heartbeat of the clinic 🐾
We juggle ringing phones, busy schedules, and endless questions… all while sneaking in cuddles with puppies and kittens. We’re cleaning, typing, coordinating, comforting, and smiling through it all.
From the first “hello” to the final “take care,” we keep things running smoothly and make sure every pet and person feels seen, heard, and cared for.
It’s multitasking at its finest—and we wouldn’t trade it for anything. 💙🐶🐱

Every day, our Gladstone Animal Shelter Animal Control Officers step in to help—whether it’s rescuing lost pets, responding to emergencies, or making sure animals and residents stay safe. Their work takes compassion, courage, and a whole lot of heart.

They are problem-solvers, caregivers, and protectors for both our community and its animals—and we are grateful for all they do 🩶

Huge ask from all of you!

Sara's newest pup (and foster fail lol) Roger is in a National cutest pup competition.

Roger won the KC Pooch Playoffs to be deemed cutest pup in KC ❤️❤️
Now we need to show him some love in the NATIONAL round!! Show the rest of the US that has the cutest pups around!
