🐾Happy K9 Veterans Day! 🐾
This Friday, March 13th, we celebrate the incredible K9 Veterans who have served alongside our military, law enforcement, and first responders. These amazing dogs are true heroes, using their skills, courage, and loyalty to help protect and save lives.
🐕 Did you know?
• The U.S. military has used working dogs since World War I.
• Military and police K9s are trained to detect explosives, narcotics, track suspects, locate missing persons, and protect their handlers.
• A K9’s sense of smell is up to 100,000 times stronger than a human’s, making them one of the most effective partners in the field.
• Many retired K9s are adopted by their handlers or loving families after years of dedicated service.
At D&D Dog Dynamics, we have deep respect for these hardworking dogs and the handlers who work beside them every day. We are proud to support and celebrate the K9 officers who serve our communities with bravery and dedication.
Today we honor every K9 who has worn the badge, served our country, and protected their partner.
