Lola and George were harnessed today for the first time ever and did awesome! Neither were phased a bit and listened perfect to all the ground driving directions. Good ground work goes a long ways!
We had to make some major adjustments to the harness though 😂

We have an ADORABLE new member to the equine family!
This little girl is the tiniest and cutest little baby. Ruby is doing awesome with her!
She needs a name! So far we like “tootsie” like a tootsie roll (since she’s chocolate colored)
Any other name ideas? Or does everyone like tootsie?!

We are very happy with our new boy and we wish the best of luck to Gage Holmes with her new mare we definitely miss her a lot but she seems to be happier there

The difference 4 months can make 🥹
Most people would have put him down. But I knew Petey was a fighter. He had already defied odds, being rejected by his momma at birth and raised on the bottle, catching fly strike at only a few weeks old, and always being much smaller than he should be. But when he was attacked by dogs I thought his fighting days were over. But the little guy never gave up and with a lot of antibiotics, wound care, and being penned up in the barn he pulled through! And now he’s healthier and better looking than ever! He even took a growth spurt and is over 3X the weight he’s been his entire life
Most people wouldn’t keep a pet whether.. but I think Pete has earned his place here at the farm.
