Meet the staff Monday!

Since I am the only staff member (owner/operator), let me introduce myself!

I am Dr. Trista Becker, owner, founder and sole proprietor of Flyinvet in Idaho. I am licensed to practice in both Idaho and Washington.

A former public servant (state then feds), I now enjoy the freedom to make decisions for my clients on my own terms. I have worked with fish for over two decades - first as a biologist then as a veterinarian. Ask me to tell you some stories from the high seas - from hair-raising trips through the Bering Sea on crab boats in 40 foot swells to what its like in remote Alaskan villages. Some of my favorite times were spent in Southeast Alaska on sablefish boats and also spotting salmon from the air. Living in Alaska is where my journey in aviation began, and I have been a licensed private pilot since 2011.

I have extensive experience in production medicine with many types of fish. I'm newer to the world of tank care for tropical fish and backyard ponds, though my extensive experience with large fish production facilities has transferred over as fish physiology stays the same.
