Over the few days I will be getting in touch with those who made a request. However I am still taking orders 1dz for $7 and 40 ears for $20 I can also shuck and clean them for an additional $5 I have some that have just reached peak sweetness. I will say we do not spray pesticides for our own safety. However like most corn will only contain “corn boers” at the tip simply break off and will be the best eating corn you ever ate!

Hey yall tomatoes are ripening up cherry and Amelia varieties we at whistle stop ranch believe in transparency. So I will say what I thought was a good slicing tomato would probably be better stewed or made into a soup just due to thick core on the inside. However they are still tasty and will make a great meal. I’m letting them go by farm pickup on small quantities for .45 cents and anything over 17 qty I can deliver to Girard or Sardis.

Corn update. Still got a little ways to go, but it won’t be much longer. I am regularly checking for the perfect day when I can see the sweetness is at its peak. That’s just how we do it at whistle stop ranch. “Only the best and most fresh.”

FARM UPDATE: looks like my peaches and cream sweet corn will be ready within the next couple weeks. If anyone would be interested I’ll be selling a dozen for $8 and 40 ears for $20 starting a waiting list already have a few folks down so please leave a comment and I will write you down and get with you when the time comes.. also side note okra is coming along nicely and will be here before you know it. Can’t wait it is my favorite thing to grow hence my nickname “The Okra Man”

That’s it folks 2024 Valencia peanuts are in the ground! Praying they turn out well. I will be keeping everyone informed the next few months to come and will start a waiting list selling them first come first serve. Once I sell out I will notify everyone via post on this page.
