FLASHBACK: There isn't a much better feeling than watching our steers on a new patch of fresh green grass in the spring.

Today is the first day of spring....when the old is replaced with the new. When the dreary days of winter start to be replaced by those bright blue skies.

The irony isnt lost on us. The changing of the seasons is not only natural in the physical world around us, but it is also true for us individually. The seasons of our lives regularly change... bringing with them that all-too-familiar feeling of sadness to see one season end, but the excitement to see another begin.

FLASHBACK: Our storefront took A LOT of work to bring back to life. When we first got it, it was in disrepair with stained carpet, drop ceilings, and pretty much unusable for what we needed. But we decided not to focus on what the building currently was....but what it could be.

We worked for almost a full year on the demolition and eventual remodeling. We took the historic building down to the very foundation....literally. After stripping it all away, we saw the beauty that had been hidden for so many years. Stamped tin ceilings dating back to the early 1900s....old arched windows in the brick walls...square head nails left over from the building's original construction.

We KNEW we had something special....now we just had to build it!

Over the years, we've had a ton of good steers at our place. But one that we will NEVER forget about is "Ferdinand." This guy was the leader of the pack and had an unbelievable muscular build. He was one that we ALL hated to see go.
