As life changes happen, I have had to make one of the toughest decisions ever and that was to rehome one or two bassets (not by choice trust me) How can I possibly do that?! Seriously, they are your family! I have beat myself up over and over thinking about it! Literally hating myself over having to do this, feeling guilt and heart break like never before.
I know breeders always rehome the retired but damn it, I’m not built for that.
I sat on it and cried for over a year just waiting for it to feel right and then all of our prayers were answered where Milla got the opportunity to live her very best life with the very best family and loving little boy ever! I never even put it out there, out of the blue they came to me, it was meant to be!
I went from crying in sadness to crying tears of pure joy for her ❤️ it’s still so hard but I am truly happy for her and her new family ❤️
I did apologize for leaving out the part where she’s a huge cheater in games, snores, and takes up all your time for belly rubs but they accepted her as she is 🥰
