We believe we have a successful breeding between Flatlanders Known as Blaze and Cedarwoods Royal Flush. Ultrasound in about 25 days. Please fill out our questionnaire on our fb page to inquire about availability. Pics are also on our fb page of all the dogs.

Flatlanders Known As Blaze has come in heat. Our plan is breed her to Cedarwoods Royal Flush. Both dogs hunted hard with us this year. These will be top notch pups with medium length, dense brown coats. Please reach out if interested. NAPPA breeder with scores on the NAVHDA website. Pictures are all over fb and available upon request. Take home should be late July early Aug.

This is some typical cover Flatlander dogs see in IL. Large wide drainage ditch with steep banks. We need our dogs working those edges no matter the weather. Temp was 15 degrees on this day and we had multiple dogs working the banks one sometimes would just walk thru the water up to their chest for a bit. Other dogs working the flats tracking and holding running birds. Pheasants love to get to the edge and flush. Also this day we dropped a rooster right in the water. A water retrieve was made and up the bank to hand. Versatile dogs do it all!!

Ps —- Illinois pheasant season needs to be Saturday after thanksgiving thru end of Jan. You can’t convince me otherwise!!!

Man was it warm this morning. While it feels good. Terrible for the dogs and getting birds to sit. Next weekend we should end the season with some cold days. I think we’ve had 4 weekends of 50+ degrees this year.

Flatlander pups just need hunted. Doesn’t matter wild or own raised both are working with the dogs and doing what they are made to do. Great work here!!
