🌟🐾 Pet of the Month: Benny! 🐾🌟

Meet adorable Benny, a 4-month-old Golden Retriever with a personality as golden as his fur! 💛 Benny is smart, outgoing, and full of playful energy, always ready to make everyone around him smile.

This sweet boy came from the wonderful Small Town Golden Retrievers and has quickly become the center of attention everywhere he goes! Benny’s favorite things include belly rubs, crunching on ice cubes, going for walks, and of course rolling around in the grass whenever he gets the chance. 🌱🐶

When it comes to toys, Benny can usually be found carrying around his beloved lobster and dinosaur toys. And at the end of the day, nothing makes him happier than cuddling up with his favorite human — his mama. 💕

Benny is also quite the little genius! He already knows an impressive list of tricks including shake, twirl, middle, chill, and even “back it up!” We think he deserves an A+ in puppy school. 🎓🐾

As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

Confederate Woods Veterinary Hospital will be open normal business hours today; however, we will only have a doctor available from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Please also remember that we will be CLOSED on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, 05/26/26, at 8:00 AM.
