Have you seen our latest blog post about questions to ask your vet? Check it out!

"One crucial question to ask is about your pet's specific breed-related health concerns. With over 350 dog breeds in the world, according to Reader's Digest, it's essential to know the unique needs and potential health risks of your pet's breed. Certain breeds are prone to specific health issues—like hip dysplasia in German Shepherds or respiratory problems in Bulldogs—so understanding these risks can help you better manage your pet's well-being."

Please share! We are URGENTLY seeking kitten bottle baby fosters for these two little pirates! Yes, you saw that right—these are baby kittens, not tiny stoats (fooled me too). They have a safe spot to be tonight but they will need care for the few weeks following. Our amazing partner vet at Germantown Farmington Animal Hospital (special shout out to Dr. Gant who has been fostering a mama cat and her kittens for us—she is trying to see if her mama cat will take to these little ones, but her own babies are 10 weeks old already—and available to pre-adopt at Germantown Farmington Animal Hospital—so mama cat may not take to these new little guys).

Also- if you or someone you know is interested in older kittens, we have many adorable kittens here at the shelter available for foster and we are getting more every day. Kitten season is in full swing at the Germantown Animal Shelter! We are (as always) accepting donations of kitten food, puppy pads, and any other supplies. THANK YOU to our wonderful community for your support and help 🙏🏻 🐾
