STATEWIDE -- Saying goodbye to your pet is never easy, now imagine being the person that has to say that death might be the best option for your fury friend.

I've said it before and I will say it again. Be nice to your veterinarian and their STAFF. For God's sake just be nice...

I've said it before and I will say it again. Be nice to your veterinarian and their STAFF. For God's sake just be nice!

Hundreds of veterinarians have taken their own lives since 1979. What's behind the startling trend?

Our clinic is beginning a trap and release spay/neuter program to help curb the overpopulation, and rampant illness of cats in our area. This will require significant funds and anything you would like to donate to this cause would be greatly appreciated. You may donate at PayPal for Germantown Animal Health Center, or in our clinic personally, we are not accepting phone donations at this time.

As for Lucien, he is still with us, and this is currently a permanent home. He is actually slightly overweight (oops!), but happy and strong. He is a very gentle boy, and gets along with everyone including kids, kittens, and goats.

Lumos and Latte are currently in foster homes and doing really well. They are up for adoption through Luv-A-Bulls and you can get their latest updates through that web-site. Since they are current on their veterinary needs, we only get periodic updates, although Latte did visit us last week. Her hair coat looks so much better and she is enjoying getting lots of exercise these days.
